Placing an order and payment

All prices on my website are inclusive of Danish VAT and other taxes. All prices are current prices. The price stated at the time of order placement is the price applicable to the purchase. Camille Brinch is not responsible for typographical errors, pricing errors, changes in VAT or tax, sold-out items or courier delivery failure.

Placing an order

Once you’ve placed an order, you’ll receive an online order confirmation. If you haven’t received this confirmation within 1 hour, please contact me. You will also receive a new email on the day your order has been shipped. When you purchasing from Camille Brinch Jewellery ApS, agreements are made in Danish. If you’d like to receive a new copy of your order confirmation, please send me an email at care@camillebrinch.com.

Payment

I offer several methods of payment. The most secure form of payment – and the one I recommend all customers use – is by debit card.

I accept the following card types:

When paying by electronic debit card, the amount will be deducted from you card once your items have been shipped. Payment is made via a secure and encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection. This means that your card information can’t be detected by others. When you use a debit card to make your purchase, I reserve the right to check whether the personal information provided is truthful. At any time, I can write down the amount paid – e.g. if a product is sold out or the order has been cancelled. However, for security reasons, I can NEVER increase the approved amount.

in order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.

Delivery time

My team packs and sends your jewellery pieces so you’ll receive them within 2-5 business days. When there’s a sale, birthday campaign or similar, deliveries may take longer than usual. This will be stated on the website.

Shipping fees

Shipping is always free, regardless of the size of your order. Your order is insured and shipped using UPS in the EU. You’ll receive your order through your mailbox – unless your order is too big to fit in your mailbox.

Returns and cancellation rights

When shopping at Camille Brinch Jewellery ApS, you have 30 days’ right of cancellation during which time you can cancel your purchase. You must then go to the return form at the bottom of the website, fill it in and enclose it with the item you wish to return or exchange. Your 30 days’ right of cancellation start from the day you receive your order. If the period expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, the period will be extended to the following work day. Your right of cancellation is subject to clear notification to me via email within 30 days of receiving your order. Upon receiving your order, you’re only allowed to handle the items to a degree that allows you to determine their nature, characteristics and use.

You’re only liable for any decrease in the value of the item due to handling other than what’s necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and use. In other words, the item can be tested and tried in the same way you would if you were to try it on in a physical store.

 If the item has been tested and tried in a manner exceeding the description above, I will consider it to be “used”, which means that if you cancel your purchase, you can only get some or none of the purchase amount refunded, depending on the commercial value of the item. 
I consider used items to be of no commercial value.


When returning/exchanging an item, you’ll have to pay for shipping. However, I’ll pay the shipping fee when sending an exchanged item to you. You’re responsible for the item from the time of delivery, and when returning it you’re responsible for ensuring that the item is packed properly. You can’t cancel an order simply by refusing to receive the item and not clearly notifying me of your intentions to cancel.

Refunding the purchase price

For returns, the purchase price will be refunded to the card from which the purchase was made.

Gift cards

All our gift cards can be exchanged for money to be transferred to your bank account against a fee of DKK 100 per gift card.

Warranty

We offer a 24-month warranty in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. This means that you can either have the item repaired or exchanged, or you can get your money back or receive a discount, depending on the specific situation. Damage to the item caused by customer mismanagement is not covered by the warranty. Complaints concerning defects must be notified to info@camillebrinch.dk within a reasonable amount of time after receiving the order. Two months are considered a reasonable time, unless otherwise agreed. If the complaint is justified, I will, of course, refund your shipping costs within a reasonable limit.

Privacy Policy

I don’t sell personal data or disclose personal information to third parties. Your personal data is only stored in our customer file. You have the right to have your personal data erased at any time. In order for you to make a purchase from www.camillebrinch.com, I need the following information: Name, address, phone number and email address. I store your personal data for the purpose of being able to deliver the goods to you correctly. Your personal data is stored by Camille Brinch Jewellery ApS for up to five years, after which the data is deleted.

When personal data is collected through our website, I ensure that it’s always done with your explicit consent, so that you know exactly what information is collected and why. The CEO and employees of Camille Brinch Jewellery ApS have access to the information stored about you. I don’t store customer information in encrypted form. I don’t transmit customer information in encrypted form.

When Camille Brinch Jewellery ApS is storing personal data about you, you always have the right to object to your data being handled. You also have the right to know what information is stored about you. These are your rights in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
